20mph limits are about "freedom". The freedom of children to walk or cycle to school The freedom for the elderly to keep mobile The freedom from death or injury whilst in our community public spaces And here are the Welsh Conservatives who helped to bring that to Wales

20's Plenty for Us TBH. I have travelled along the Shirley 20mph corridor this week & the new limit appears to speed up journey times, even out the flow & makes it easier for traffic joining from side roads without conflict & disruption. Plus much safer for pedestrians at crossing places.

The debate about an urban/village 20mph limit as a norm seems to be between those who see issue either thru a windscreen or potential for populist votes, and those who see the issue thru eyes of an 8 year old or societal public health and values.
