Too tired to burn too vain to set, A pensive sun hung on sky's edge, cajoling yet mischievously singeing the frayed edges of clouds As I watch an undeserved sunset bestowed on a hopelessly pragmatic world For amidst sunsets, as homing pigeons fond memories come fluttering back

Too tired to burn
too vain to set,
A pensive sun
hung on sky's edge, cajoling
yet mischievously singeing the frayed edges of clouds
As I watch
an undeserved sunset bestowed on a hopelessly pragmatic world
For amidst sunsets, as homing pigeons
fond memories come fluttering back

As #NationalSportsDay2020 trends, some old memories tumble forth One of the fondest memories is my final long-jump at ASISC Uttar Pradesh State Athletic Meet,Prayagraj,2009 when the whole stadium had come out to cheer & I won Individual Championship of State. So humbled I’d felt!

A lazy Sunday afternoon... With nothing much to write or edit for publication today, I have resorted to something much easier and lazier -- reading... Gifts of Sunday indolence! The title of the book seems like a transient epiphany: In Praise of Idleness by Bertrand Russell..

Memories are our revenge against the onslaught of time and our own forgetfulness. But what constitutes a memory & what forms a nostalgia, are philosophical questions. MY RECENT ARTICLE: epw.in/journal/2020/3… My Guide: French artist Jean-Baptiste Regnault #memories

Epistle is envisioned as a two-way platform for interactions between senior and junior members of the IRS fraternity as well as a genial repository of delicate sentiments and collective nostalgia of all the alumni, alumnae of NADT. Encouraging to see our efforts bearing fruits.

Seldom I send my poems for publication. This recent publication somewhat reminded me Eliot. Eliot once wrote a sentimental poem for his wife and when it happened to get published, he dreamily mumbled: 'Those were my private emotions expressed publicly.' madrascourier.com/art-and-poetry…

Suyash Saxena Does the act of buying something of a stipulated market price and gifting it to someone chosen by random lots qualify as genuine gift-giving? How intrinsic is the element of cost to the idea of gift-giving? epw.in/journal/2022/4…
