insane how the only notable change since Sandy Hook is that kids are now formally trained to hide, barricade doors, fight, or run for their lives. that was the solution. to literally put the responsibility on them to figure it out and wish them luck.

Social media posts are making the baseless claim that delays in election results are reason for suspicion. Counting mail-in ballots takes time, and not knowing who won on election night is not evidence that the results are fraudulent. bit.ly/3UhxU3c

I don’t understand how people can hate others for just being who they are - these humans are not hurting anyone by being true to themselves. To my students and loved ones who feel this attack on a personal level, know that I love you BECAUSE of who you are, not despite it.

For ten years, Sandy Hook survivors and the families of victims have turned their pain into purpose. We owe them more than our prayers. We owe them action.

BIDEN: "My program is too expensive? ... The average amount forgiven in the PPP pandemic loan program, the average loan amount forgiven was $70,000. Now, a kid making $60,000 trying to pay back his bills, asking for $10,000 of relief? Come on. The hypocrisy is stunning."

I would be devastated. I’ve spent years buying books that speak to all my students. When a student tells me a book speaks to them or makes them feel seen, it makes all the money I’ve spent worthwhile. The trend to demonize CHOICE books in schools and libraries is heartbreaking.
