Feeling disheartened today, thanks to this morning’s committee children in the looked after system aged 16 and 17 will be denied care and legally placed in unregulated and unsafe accommodation. I am sorry and saddened that I was a lone voice but I will keep fighting for you all.

In 2018, Sir Jeremy Hunt MP put in place a £6M strategy for children of alcoholics. 3 years later, the Department of Health and Social Care abandoned its national strategy. All projects scrapped.
