My thoughts are with the farmers currently fighting for their livelihood in India. More than 50% of India’s population work on farms. Any major agricultural reforms need to be employed with great care. I hope the issue will be resolved soon and those affected will be supported.

The easy job is done for Eng. Now the fun begins. India lost it’s last 7 wickets for 81 runs. I was 30 runs over for India’s 1st innings (should have been closer to my 359 - if the tail hung in with Pant). How many runs Eng in their 1st innings ? Remember my guess was 157 !!!!!

The toss was more important to win in the 1st test than this one, as it did nothing the 1st 2 days. Then exploded. This one has been a turner from ball one. Eng should’ve bowled India out for 220. No different between spinning or seaming & Rohit showed how to play on this surface

The only thing this pitch does is distinguish the best from the rest. Foakes with the gloves; Ashwin with the ball; Kohli with the bat. Which, tbh, is exactly what you'd want conditions to do: demonstrate ridiculous skill. Enjoy it. #INDvENG

If highlighting the farmers’ protest globally is sedition, then “I am better (off) in jail”, climate activist Disha Ravi tells Delhi court . Courage is contagious.

Kind of surreal to take a photo of the singularly inspiring Bhagat Singh -- a revolutionary voice in 1920s India, who was hung by the British in 1931, at the age of 24 -- run it through the Heritage AI algorithm, and see him reanimated.

I hope England at least get a decent score in the second innings because this pitch is really difficult to complain about🤭 #INDvsENG
