1/3 Watching the news last night about the new visa system and the affect it could have on low skilled labour and it really annoys me that they put the care industry in this bracket.. There is nothing low skilled about a carer looking after an elderly person with dementia

2/3 ensuring their dignity at all times neither is that support worker supporting a young person who feels they have no choice other than self harm or the support worker supporting the homeless man who is ex army with PTSD who has lost everything ...

3/3 There is a difference between low skilled and low paid or rather UNDERPAID 😡😡 They should never be put in this category ...

So society’s *real* key workers have just been revealed. Not the bankers. Not the traders. Not the elite hedge fund managers. It’s the nurses. The doctors. The delivery drivers. The carers. The porters. The teachers. The shelf stackers. The check out staff. #COVID19
