Love this! Diversity is a fact. Equity is a choice, Inclusion is an action and Belonging is an outcome. Well said! #HappyPrideMonth

Principal tip: Keep bottles of water in your office. When a dysregulated student (or adult!) has to visit, offer a bottle of water before talking to them or having them talk. Water dilutes the cortisol that is working overtime during dysregulated moments. β™₯️ #JoyfulLeaders

We all have a cultural lens that shapes how we view the world, situations, & people. Combine that with dysregulated emotions & implicit bias that we all have, & it can inhibit our ability to connect with others. It’s hard, but self awareness & empathy can choose the right lens.
