This is KS3 artist work. Looking at artists’ work is an integral part of helping students to develop their skills and techniques. It gives opportunity to develop in depth understanding of processes as well as inspiring students. KS3 students study 3 artists every project.

The Art Department welcomed 30 Year 6 students from Dewhurst Primary School today. They spent the morning creating their own ‘Sunflower’ designs, experimenting with oil pastel and paint on canvas. It was a productive and creative 90 minutes of learning. St Mary's CE High School, Cheshunt

Our year 9 artists developed their own photos and images of food into mono prints today using both oil pastels and printing ink. We had a great lesson, with fantastic results! Very proud to show off some of their art. Well done Igor and Bernardo✨ St Mary's CE High School, Cheshunt

Year 9 students have been exploring a wide variety of media this year, enhancing their skills across multiple disciplines. They have refined their abilities in more technical observational drawing. Presented here are Anna Gregoria's 'Food Project' and her exam piece.
