Today at #needleshighschool the “Every 15 Minutes” event took place! 10 students were reaped from class & prepared for a simulated drunk driving accident scene. The entire event will be presented on video tomorrow at Needles High School auditorium at approximately 10:25 a.m.

The Colorado River Station is pleased to announce our very own Sergeant N. Caronna, Detective A. Pennington & Deputy D. Wagner were presented with the Sheriff’s Medal of Valor for acts of bravery while serving our community today!! Congratulations to all of you!!

AAA reminds us that School zone speeds are set low for a reason! The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety finds that as speed increases, so does the severity of injury for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Help us keep students safe this year by obeying the posted speed limits!
