In addition, several teams still fly private. It makes sense for a huge football team to charter a plane, but isn’t the case with these smaller teams. Stanford calling it a financial decision is the biggest joke ever.

Unless you were were on a team that got blindsided by a zoom call saying the program will cease to exist due to “financials” while said teams raised over $40 million to reinstate their sports to a cold shoulder from Stanford Cardinal 🌲🤓

Definitely seems like cutting 11 sports costing $8 million a year was the right solution when the budget has ballooned and revenues from football/basketball (pre-covid) have not at all justified these increases. This is absurd.

A&M was gift led a victory against ND by SEC refs, barely survived a 30-3 deficit against a bad South Carolina team, and played the bottom half of the SEC except for the one team with a winning record, Texas, who stomped them.
