Thank you Minister Anniken Huitfeldt for a great debriefing meeting today with colleagues. So many issues touched upon, including one of my points let’s not forget Africa. We last met when she visited Malawi in 2019 as Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in Parliament.

Anti-corruption work is key in reducing poverty. We must ensure integrity and respect rule of law in our fight against corruption. I commend Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for steadfast action against corruption & steps taken to investigate the wrongdoings in the arrest of Chizuma.
