We had a great visit from Craig Mason a BIM manger Kier Construction Craig told us all about his route to work and his role at Kier Construction . Mr Kennedy’s Higher Design & Manufacture class visited the social area today to study the folding tables. Pupils were able to identify the manufacturing processes used to make components of the table, as well as highlighting identifying features to support their answers 👏👏👏

1K and 1P produced great work in St Ambrose DET today, whilst taking part in The Social Enterprise Ideation Station. Their mission was to come up with their own social enterprise idea that could do a world of good. Well done to all involved 👏 Pupil Support Team St Ambrose High

Mr Kennedy’s Higher D&M class spent this afternoon identifying the manufacturing processes used to make the tables in the St Ambrose High social area. The pupils were able to spot parts made by injection moulding, extrusion and compression moulding 👏

The St Ambrose High Higher D&M classes welcomed speaker Ken Stewart today. Mr Stewart discussed his time at Yarrow Shipbuilding and Scottish Power, and his roles within Engineering. Mr Stewart related his career to what the pupils are learning in class. #scottishcareersweek24
