Out topping up some of our local feeders in West Suffolk this weekend. This Robin, with 6 others, recognised the seed barrow but was the only one happy to visit my hand. The others were raiding the bags and buckets in the barrow. Gotta love nature! Suffolk Bird Group

Back in the Baltic! Following a trip to Latvia in May, I’ve returned to Estonia this week. The weather has been somewhat mixed but the evening skies stunning, some might say apocalyptic. You can’t help but feel the sense of tension. The temperature swings just add to the drama.

Here again for another autumn visit with Lee & Cathy Gregory to assist the folks at Kabli with their phenomenal project monitoring migrating birds. There is a huge amount of effort involved with long days & a great team. Big thanks to Lee for letting me use his fab image earlier.
