Luranah b1860 & Amanda b1866 Aldridge were singers, daughters of African African actor Ira. Grew up in Hamlet Road, Upper #Norwood. Luranah was “strong-willed, dominating and pleasure-loving”, travelled to Bayreuth to sing in The Ring but ill health prevented her performing. 1/4
