Working at a hospital (especially an ICU) is not only hard because we’re in the middle of a respiratory virus pandemic but also because I have to quarantine myself from every person I love because I don’t want to risk them getting sick if I’m exposed... so I’m SAD

More than 3 days in a row as an ICU nurse usually is a killer. I worked 4 this week and let me tell you it’s even worse. The mental exhaustion is just as real as physical. I’ve slept 80% of the day.

We have two refrigerators so one drawer of our freezer is dedicated specifically to sweets. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Free gas means my house runs about 75 all the time because I’m always cold. Every time Lance comes inside he says it’s hot and turns the heat down but very time he goes outside I turn the gas stove up. Oops.

I can’t handle this gloomy weather anymore. After working 4 days in a row in a gloomy environment because of the virus, I would love to have one day off where the weather is nice and actually makes me want to move from the couch.

Can someone explain to me how I’m not supposed to eat junk food when it is in front of us all the time at work?! Can we start trading it in for vegetable/fruit trays? Or some chocolate covered strawberries and claim they’re healthy? 😂😂beyond grateful thoufh for people donating

When you see all these nurses getting gifts from their job for nurses day. Then you remember you work in a hospital. They don’t do anything for it especially this year 😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Nothing is worse than when you wake up thinking you have a good few hours left to sleep and actually you only have 20 minutes

I have a 7 year old cousin with kids messenger and an 8 year old cousin with snapchat. My phone goes off all day between the two of them. I finally feel like I have friends 😂😂😂

Why is it that every single day I work it is so nice outside and when I’m off it does nothing but rain 🤦🏼‍♀️

Why is it impossible to find women’s jean shorts that my butt doesn’t hang out of and they aren’t tight fitting?! 😅

Lance could care less about how he dresses but is concerned what his video game characters have on 🤨

He acts so innocent after he just followed me around the house for 20 minutes squeaking his toy the ENTIRE TIME. 🙄

All these cell phone companies claiming they are getting 5G and I would be happy to just have 3G at my house or any cell phone service. 🙄

Lance and I figured out my hotspot will run when my phone is in one random spot in our house so we can actually watch Netflix from our house as we wait for who knows when to actually get high speed internet. #countryliving 😑

People don't realize what all coaches have to go through both during the season and off. There is so much stupidity and headache that goes with it. I've seen it first hand with a dad and now a husband as a coach and all I can say is, wow coaches deserve more respect and money.
