Alastair Campbell is absolutely smashing the shit out of this tonight. The corruption of Sharp and Johnson needs to be pointed out on national TV, but the fact he said it live on BBC News after they tried to undermine his viewpoint, is delicious. Legend.

Worth noting that this is, of course, another almighty mess that leads directly to Boris Johnson and his utter unfitness for office. It’s impossible not to see his elevation of the obviously unsuitable Richard Sharp to BBC chairman as his reward for facilitating an enormous loan.

I am #StateSchoolProud The 93% Club 4 years old here, first school picture 1955. 50 children in every class - chalk and wood framed slates in reception. State school all the way. Graduated Manchester Uni 1975 first in family to go to Uni. Fees paid/grants made that possible.

I am also #StateSchoolProud. And as a qualified teacher I was always told (by fellow teachers) that the best teachers are in state schools. Here I am in my school uniform with my weaponised collar. The 93% Club
