@makambaProvince -Kayogoro commune: Members of AJE NEZA and DUFATANE MUNDA associations shared with our National Director Simon Nyabwengi how the Livelihood and Economic Inclusion project funded by UNHCR Burundi is contributing in the transformation of their well-being.

Members of the associations are making soaps, doing basketry, livestock keeping and sewing. Increased income is enabling members to provide for their families including providing school materials for their children. The project targets returnees and host communities.

Le projet d’autonomisation exécuté par World Vision Burundi et financé par le HCR UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency met en oeuvre le programme de cours en ligne via la plateforme Coursera. Il donne aux réfugiés, aux rapatriés et à la communauté hôte des opportunités d’apprentissage et de développement personnel

Avec le projet d’autonomisation, World Vision Burundi et UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency ont permis à l’association Sky DUFATANEMUNDA, située en zone Mugeni (Muyinga), d'améliorer la vie de ses membres. Avec un capital de 1,5 millions BIF, et des formations sur l'Empowered World View, ils fabriquent du pain.

Dans le cadre du projet d’autonomisation financé par UNHCR Burundi et mis en œuvre par World Vision Burundi, la coopérative Maendeleo du camp des réfugiés Congolais de #Kinama en commune #Muyinga, a bénéficié d’un appui de 10 porcs pour renforcer ses activités génératrices de revenus.
