On our last day of the season, two members of the Hall family have come to see us! Mary (left) is the daughter of joiner Kenneth Hall, who worked alongside his blacksmith brother Elias "Ellis", Mikki's (right) mother's cousin's husband. They have a show on Northern Quarter Radio!

As well as being Blacksmiths Day at the Smithy, it's #WorldBeeDay so we've got beekeepers in with their have (we spotted the Queen!) and got our cute bee tablecloths out in the bar - live craft demos until 5 today, and serving real ales & ciders until 6pm. Free entry!
