The Willy Wonka line at the end of Adrian McKinty’s The Detective Up Late ties everything up, I think. Makes me sad and happy both. Great book. Fantastic series.
Just finished my intro to Jordan Harper 🏴 & can’t wait to dive into another. He can turn a phrase better than most. Loved this gritty story. Endearing & fearsome.
Who knew that months after finishing Adrian McKinty’s Duffy series (for the 3rd or 4th time) that I’d have “you sleekit wee shite” still running through my head. Oh, if only I was still teaching…
Rewatching The Americans for the 4th or 5th time. I’m always floored by the master class in acting that Lois Smith gives in S3E9 as Betty Turner. Such a gifted cast & she steals this episode in only a few minutes. 👏👏👏
Umm… Adrian McKinty, did you know about his other life… and his time-traveling capabilities?
Listening again to Adrian McKinty’s Duffy series. Tommy Little figures into the story in The Cold, Cold Ground. I think, “Wasn’t he a character in the Forsythe series?” I search. I find only one brief mention of him in Dead I Well May Be. Did I find the only one?
#amreading Adrian McKinty’s Hang On St. Christopher. Tired. Wanting sleep. But I’m in The Ferryhill Road chapter. No way I’m putting it down. #noir #thriller
I’m almost 3/4 of the way thru THE PEOPLE WE KEEP by Allie Larkin and I’m getting sad that this book is going to end. I am so attached to April!!
Roads in northeast St. Joseph County in Granger… SR 23 is like I like my McDonald's fries… nicely salted. Snow is coming down and it will be hard for plows to keep up. Give plows plenty of space to work and they have big blind spots. Tonight is a good night to stay in.
