I've started muting folks who come up on my 'For You' feed that are blatantly engagement-farming and it's honestly been so cathartic.

It blows my mind how much good Musk could do in the world and how uplifting his messages could be here on X. Instead he just shitposts and caters to the lowest common denominator with negative and (often) false claims just to get a reaction. Sad and frustrating.

The narrative around Universal Basic Income often gets twisted into a saga of laziness. But here's food for thought: UBI will be the most significant productivity booster we've yet to embrace. Freed from survival stress, innovation and creativity will flourish like never before.

I'd also add that it -shouldn't- be completely hands-off. If you don't care enough about your tenants to meet them, deal with their issues and just be a decent (active and efficient) point of contact, then YOU are part of the housing problem. It's the bare minimum.
