Getting ready to start Emergency Management Conference 2022!

These workshops are a great opportunity to bring your volunteer community together and learn some great skills and start the conversation about #mentalhealth, best of all, we come to you!

On 30 September, the Chair of Emergency Services Foundation and Inspector General for Emergency Management IGEM Victoria, Tony Pearce, will begin Tony's Trek - a 1,440km solo charity walk through VIC to support new mental health initiatives to benefit our emergency management community.

Today is a day to pause and remember the police who have lost their lives in serving our community. Memorial services can trigger a range of emotions. Never underestimate the value of speaking with a trusted friend or professional about how you are feeling.

We are SO grateful to have Anthony as an ESF/ #TonysTrek ambassador - which is raising funds to enable us to train ambassadors to safely share their stories of MH and recovery. Reducing stigma is essential as it inhibits early help-seeking when the chance of recovery is greatest.
