I wonder what my Janey is doing right now. I miss her terribly. A little monkey is no substitute for a fine woman to warm my bed and my heart. I pray that she is well and safe, and that I shall return to her soon.

On this blessed Sabbath day, let us meditate on the Holy Scriptures, bolstering up our fellow men, as well as ourselves, with the sacred words of our loving Heavenly Father.

Let us greet this new day with a song in our hearts and thanksgiving on our lips! We may have hardships, but let us rejoice that we have been blessed with another day - another opportunity to make the most of what we’ve been given!

On this frosty, sunless morning, let us take heart and meditate on the words of the Psalmist as he says, “I will be glad and rejoice in Your loving devotion, for You have seen my affliction; You have known the anguish of my soul.” Psalm 31:7

On this blessed #StValentinesDay, May we strive, one and all, to uphold one another in brotherly love. But may we also remember to honor the lesser known charges of Saint Valentine: our brethren beekeepers, plague victims, and epileptics. Amen.
