We had such a great time today helping 5 families build and take home a bike. I’m in awe of some of the kids skills at putting bikes together. Much better than mine.

Santa and his elf made some little people very happy today. As well fixing bikes and giving some bike related presents out.

Kidical Mass Reading would like to invite people to it’s annual AGM 15:30 14 Jan 2024 at Park House, University of Reading. Conveniently straight after our January ride, also on campus. We’ll put up an event brite shortly to confirm numbers.

The rides aren’t only about infrastructure and safe routes, its created friendships and a community. And no I haven’t worked out how I’m getting the wreath home in one piece on the bike.

This morning we had a horribly parked lorry on the zigzags outside St Martin's School. According to Thames Valley Police you can report these online, but on their tool there is no option that actually lets you report this type of parking, short of dialling 999. Thames Valley Police, suggestions?

Reading Cycle Campaign there's a new hazard at green park business park where cars avoid the new speed humps by driving around them into the cycle lanes. Can this be resolved to make the existing cycle route safe for the bikes? No response from Green Park when I've raised the issue.
