KT T - 🕊️ 💚 🇪🇺 There are many different ways of raising children & state responsibility is to help & empower parents make informed choices about what is best for them. Neuromotor immaturity a real issue for many #children. I’d be keen to hear what Keir Starmer action plan is for them?

Karen Flynn Jim Dr June O'Sullivan OBE Jane Abrahamsen The Labour Party Upstart Scotland Give Them Time Let’s please prioritise what #children really need & not what adults or #politicians would like to do. #Parenthood suffers from a sense of support & worth. #Keir_Starmer plan will likely bring “targets” a child expected to reach b4 starting formal #education. Too much. Too soon.

2020 Together (We Can) 1. Great article.Just wish we would have some honesty around rates. Using percentages to make an argument ScotGov Childcare isn’t really on.Please use rate 2rate. With 1140hrs it went from £3.50ph which was nearly £3 per less than pvi were charging for non funded prov to £5.31ph a 51%

Our 2020 Together (We Can) video tells the TRUE story of ELC in 🏴. The bias, the discrimination, the attempted destruction of vital local businesses by councils, the unfair treatment of children and workers in 🏴

2020 Together (We Can) So sad we are still here trying to gain equality for our children when we have been saying this for many years. Apart from the general inequality let's make sure this also concerns asn children whom we get no support at all financial or staffing, in many councils. Not girfec !!

ScotGov Childcare know perfectly well that this misrepresents the reality of where we are, but that’s politics. The next steps are either, working together to agree an acceptable roadmap with PVI, or further exposure of the inequalities and the legality of the bias and discrimination.

Jim Natalie Don-Innes MSP ScotGov Childcare Parent Club Scotland Education, Children and Young People Committee Willie Rennie Stephen Boyle Let’s just have an honest conversation. If there continues 2 be gaps in hourly rates 2 provide 1140, then the PVI must be given the levers on our side of the partnership to close the gap and allow us to meet the demands of equal pay.The video says it all youtu.be/CgrT77w2CBI?si…

2020 Together (We Can) An excerpt from this story☝🏼 “Kirktonholme, for example, has about 160 childcare practitioners at any one time, and we have lost 320 plus in recent years - about 200 per cent of our workforce!” ❗️❗️As of last week add another 5 staff in the one week to that total ScotGov Childcare 😔

Lisa Morrison Lorna Carlyle Jim 2020 Together (We Can) COSLACYP Natalie Don-Innes MSP Independant funding body appears to be the best option to sort the ELC mess out.

kidkid Jim Lisa Morrison Lorna Carlyle 2020 Together (We Can) COSLACYP Natalie Don-Innes MSP Got 2 ask why there’s a funding body4 post 16 education because it’s so important to the economy but nothing 4 the pre5’s which I’d argue is more important. Why r we lumped in with schools? Elc needs 2 be funded for itself not as an add on 2 school provision. Level playing field?

Our members are extremely concerned Care Inspectorate Education Scotland ScotGov Childcare! The plan is questionable, why not share the document & then professional discussion? Is this another example of being done to again? Natalie Don-Innes MSP Early Years Scotland NDNA Scotland

2020 Together (We Can) Care Inspectorate Education Scotland ScotGov Childcare Natalie Don-Innes MSP Early Years Scotland NDNA Scotland We are curious about consulting & sharing w parents & children in our care on tiniest of things that are world to them. It's our culture. It's the nature of our provision. It's what inspires & leads us to change & improve. We set an example. Care Inspectorate you can improve on this!

2020 Together (We Can) Care Inspectorate Education Scotland ScotGov Childcare Natalie Don-Innes MSP Early Years Scotland NDNA Scotland The most confusing aspect is that the sector got the opportunity to consult on previous document, why not now? 🤔 Engagement sessions cannot possibly be effective if the document is not released sooner?

2020 Together (We Can) Care Inspectorate Education Scotland ScotGov Childcare Natalie Don-Innes MSP Early Years Scotland NDNA Scotland It is imperative that when consulting all parties have the relevant informationn to consult on. If we do not have the document before the consultation then it is CI bigging up their agenda - this is not transparent or helpful. Listen to ur audience please.

2020 Together (We Can) Care Inspectorate Education Scotland ScotGov Childcare Natalie Don-Innes MSP Early Years Scotland NDNA Scotland It's already in place what's the point in asking us now?? It's stressful navigating all these documents over and over when will we be listened to 😬
