Having #robocop cutting the grass allows the grounds team to focus on some of the more tedious details. #batsbaseball #automower #husqvarna

Busy 24 hours at Slugger, finished up our homestand yesterday with a post game verticut. Followed up this morning blowing our clippings/thatch, aerating, mowing, then blowing once more to clean things up. Fertilizer to come this week as we prep for 12 games in 14 days.

Few hours before game 9 of 12 in 13 days. Pretty satisfied with how we are holding up; especially considering 5 days of tarp pulls last week.

With the team on the road for two weeks, it means time to really get after it. Double verticut, cores pulled and swept to start off the break.

The projects continued today with an aggressive edge and backfill on the infield. Also spent time raising/adjusting some irrigation heads, and hand watering as the days without rain keep piling on. Feat. Robocop taking care of the mowing while we tended to other tasks.

Last but not least, it was wonderful to visit with Louisville Bats Grass Tod Shafer and his staff in Louisville. What a great group of young men who asked so many great industry focused questions. Truly a blessing to have a crew like that, and always wonderful to see Tod.
