Mama Moose Nah Ridiculous point. If only negative impact on boundary roads has been seen in 6 months then LTN isn't functioning & requires further action. You cannot ask boundary residents suffering through massive increase in traffic, air and noise pollution to just keep waiting & waiting 1/2
Mama Moose Nah LTNs need changes/tweaks in order to be genuine liveable neighbourhoods & reflect area needs. Pretending there aren't any problems in its 1st iteration isn't gonna help & puts off ppl who'd otherwise be on board. Belmont Rd is a narrow 100% residential St not designed for traffic
LTN update Belmont Road. 2 almost collisions. Cars frustrated in gridlock, u-turning and almost hitting another car and moped. Not safe for cycling. Not safe for residents. Accident waiting to happen. We need mitigation now. Mike Hakata Healthy Streets Bruce Grove & West Green Ducketts Green Healthy Streets 🌹Cllr Seema Chandwani
LTN observations: Sunday 13th 👼 Really heartening to see traffic reduction and more cycling on Phillip Lane 👿 Traffic backed up along Belmont snakeing right up to Downhills Way and noticeable fumes. Help needed Mike Hakata Healthy Streets Bruce Grove & West Green Ducketts Green Healthy Streets 🌹Cllr Seema Chandwani Sarah Williams
If ever a video has summed up the corrosive effects of traffic on wildlife, it's this. Constant horns, cars severing people and animals. We are so at odds to how we are meant to be living. Life on Belmont Rd, an HTN (high traffic neighborhood) is the pits. Mike Hakata Sarah Williams
