she jumps, a little startled but not surprised to say the least. this was pretty typical for them, actually. she picks up the knife and approaches clarisse, holding it out to her "hey, no need to throw weapons." percy bites back on her laughter and instead offers a smile.

approaching clarisse, she mumbles “hey easy— you're making it worse by doing that.” she examines the wall, then clarisse's arm, and tries not to look to judgmental. “can i?” percy asks, pointing at her wrist. maybe if she just 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 can twist and turn it around . . .
