@CllrFareham Leo Gibbons Probably a lower architectural bar since Hull was the second most bombed city in the UK during WW2. The beautiful Hammonds store my grandfather worked at was bombed to smithereens (thankfully sparing Paragon Station) and replaced with something less pretty.

1: @CllrFareham Harry Scoffin 'to debate and investigate'..how many more damn years is the leasehold system to be debated and investigated? And why was Commonhold put on the statute books if it were not recognised that leasehold is a shocking tenure...

@CllrFareham Harry Scoffin Tower Hamlets Justice for Leaseholders Michael Gove Why shouldn't politicians, our elected representatives, take a side? Isn't that their job? Rather than leaving it all to 'wise' judges.

@CllrFareham Harry Scoffin Michael Gove I thought Conservatives believed in competitive markets to drive up standards and drive down prices? Converting leasehold to commonhold would enable flat owners to shop around for managing agents. Looks very Conservative to me.

Tom Harwood @CllrFareham They do it to control supply and thereby keeping prices at a high level to maximise profits but clearly simple economics is not something you know about!!

Subsequent traffic volumes along Newland have rendered the work somewhat redundant - itโ€™s far too busy now. Definitely needs more work to increase active travel use and deter driving.
