KWAJO- Social Issues Campaigner Precisely.

The de-regulated building, housing, and adjacent sectors have shown they’re happy to leave people in dire-straits in chase of profit.

A government’s priority should be to protect people; they should now take immediate and decisive action to rectify and re-regulate.

More concerning is the risk to life and health/safety for those who are expected to live in them whilst paying ridiculous costs …

These are the types of ‘New Builds’ being knocked up 😕.

If this continues we can forget about fixing the housing crisis. It’ll be even bigger in 10 years time when new builds have to be demolished because they’re such poor quality.

The situation at Agar Grove is very concerning, it highlights many of the issues in the building safety crisis. I’ve written to the Minister to see what action he will take. Dan Bruce

Stephen Greenhalgh BBC London Unfortunately, the Building Safety Act doesn’t help us nor apply to us.

We’re victims of an unregulated building industry and a worthless warranty.

We want our lives and our life savings back.

This should be a problem between the developer and Acasta Europe Ltd now.

It's time to stand up and be counted Acasta Europe Ltd. You must honour your responsibility, and pay up. This case won't go away, and the longer you wait, the worse it will get for the reputation of your company.

Question is: What are professional freeholders doing to help? Seems leaseholders are left to fend for themselves. The whole flat building system from top to bottom is rancid.

Acasta Europe Ltd 'We take these concerns very seriously and are committed to fulfilling any obligations under the relevant insurance policies” said warranty provider Acasta Europe Ltd 7 months ago

It brings to mind a quote from a story I did other day that people often have great peace of mind knowing they’re insured - until they have to actually claim

It does beg the question what is the POINT of a company having a warranty if it’s not going to pay up when leaseholders actually need it

BBC London Acasta Europe Ltd We had to rely on what they said to us last time which is that they take their obligations seriously under the warranty. But quite franky Acasta Europe Ltd if you don't feel able to respond to BBC London - where does this leave the leaseholders who've had their lives destroyed?

BBC London Acasta Europe Ltd 2/2 c) But we were asked if they could provide a statement by 10AM wednesday, to which BBC London said of course d) Statement never came. They ignored it totally.

1/2 And I need to make clear what efforts BBC London has made to get in contact with Acasta Europe Ltd - a) we got in touch Friday, and were told their press person is now away for the holidays b) Then got an e mail saying they can't meet our deadline (3 days) - for a response

“Acasta must meet its warranty obligations swiftly so the leaseholders, who have suffered unjustly, can get on with their lives.”
