I like John Burn-Murdoch's chart to compare countries.  It has a log y-axis, so exponential growth appears as a line.  We are still roughly on Italy's trajectory for case count, 11 days behind. I added key dates for US & Italy.

At the current growth rate, the total number of US confirmed #COVID19 cases is likely to be ~100,000 by the end of March 26th. The case count could match the number of hospital beds in the US about April 3rd. Please practice social distancing to prove me wrong!

Glad to see MN joining the lockdown "party" with a nice infographic. Also interesting that liquor stores are in the Open/essential category.

Have you been wanting to: • See a world-class performance at 0 cost and 0 #COVID19 risk? • Branch out from Netflix? Metropolitan Opera is offering free streams of one past performance every night for the next 2 weeks! This week is Wagner's epic ring cycle. metopera.org/user-informati…

It's the morning of March 27 and The New York Times and Johns Hopkins University are reporting 85k to 86k confirmed cases, so all of your social distancing efforts are helping prove me wrong! Good work! Pure exponential growth would have predicted 100k cases by now.

Carbon fee and dividend is the best policy I have seen to affordably create sweeping change to mitigate climate change and it seems the American Petroleum Institute agrees. washingtonpost.com/climate-enviro…

Nearly half of Americans live somewhere affected by a climate disaster in 2021. This is our new reality, but it shouldn’t be. If we don’t want that number to reach 100%, we need to act.

🎉 Bipartisan action on climate! I have seen firsthand how investment decisions are made. A price on pollution will accelerate corporate investment in the most effective pollution mitigation. There is no silver bullet but a price on carbon is the best buckshot I know of.

DeltaAssist @Delta Medallions get $60 worth of free checked bags. I would be much more loyal if I could apply that to the $150 (!) bike fee
