Look through the profiles of those posting negative comments on this and you will see that absolutely none of them work in schools, let alone lead schools in challenging contexts.

“I care deeply, deeply about the most disadvantaged children in society and the education they receive.”

“That’s amazing. So you’re going to work in a school with those kids?”

“No.”

“Oh…ok-”

“But I will find the people that do. And I will attack those people on Twitter.”

Progressive and kind edutwitter: “Ofsted is terrible and should be abolished because you can’t judge a school based on a short visit.”

Also progressive and kind edutwitter: “I have decided that this school is terrible from a single photograph of one empty corridor.”

I misbehaved a lot at school.

I remember feeling happy when one of the soft teachers spoke to me about my behaviour, because I knew I was more likely to get away with it with minimal consequences.

That didn't happen with the strict teachers - I behaved for them & did more work

Billie Piper is trending for slagging off her children's father, Laurence Fox, publicly. The shallow-minded
leftists are loving it. As usual with the left the children are the last thing on their minds. Seems Piper suffers from that too.

Students who misbehave, who attack other students and staff, who tell their teachers to f***off constantly, disrupting lessons, they do less well in school, you say? What a mystery that is. I’m stumped as to how we explain that.

Please, no more extensive threads providing 'expert advice (or condemnation)' on how schools should lead and manage on teaching, learning and behaviour from ppl who have never in their lives taught even a single lesson in a school environment. A single lesson.

Young people get one chance at education.

There are ppl on here who have never run a school - but constantly tell others how to. Also ppl on here who have - but badly! - who also do the above.

I call that out. On behalf of those who get one chance.

It is too important not to.

Small, rural school head, entering the inspection window = stress levels rising.

I believe we are excellent in what we do and offer. Is that what the inspection framework is looking for? Probably not as it isn't designed for schools like mine.

Poor inspection= end of my career.

I find it staggering how many school behaviour experts now exist who have never worked in a school nor been a teacher. Yet they refute what people who work every single day in schools have to say.

I’m generalising too much, but there does seem to be something fairly common between the post teen / pre-40 age bracket, where it is too easy to offend.
And even if you meant absolutely nothing by whatever upset them, they won’t take your apology - in fact they get more upset.

I repeatedly asked Jeremy Corbyn if he thought Hamas was a terrorist group and whether they should stay in power in Gaza.
He repeatedly refused to answer either question. Staggering.

Pro-Hamas, anti-semite, or far right hooligan protesters…

They are all disgraceful and should feel the full force of the law

There you go…

Pretty simple, isn’t it?

Most voters don’t know how bad the behavior is in some schools. Many teachers work in way easier schools and don’t know how bad the behavior is in other schools. The politicians send their kids to expensive well behaved private schools. It all makes it hard to fix the problem.

Nick Lowles The far-right and far-left are ruining this country.

Racist, violent thugs at the far-right hooligan fest and filthy antisemites at the ‘peace march’.

Beyond shameful.

It is possible to hate Hamas, but want an end to the slaughter of civilians in Gaza. It’s possible to support Israel’s right to exist (and defend itself), but oppose Netanyahu and how he’s going about it

Gary Lineker Iain Duncan Smith MP Nobody is doubting your apparent vocal commitment to peace and social justice Gary Lineker . The speed with which you post about the latest new stories is impressive - I think what lots of people have noticed though is how you went very quiet on the 7th October when it was Hamas

Congratulations to Hamas leader Khaled Mashal for reaching a net worth of $5 billion 🤑

He and his family are lavishly hosted in Qatar 🇶🇦. Dying in Gaza is only for peasants.
