Informed today that @luhc has requested that Durkan, the developer of under 11m Union Park in East Greenwich, should cover the costs of building safety remediation works. It is essential that this request is complied with urgently and enforced by government if necessary.

This long overdue decision will give Union Park leaseholders cause for hope after years of uncertainty and anxiety. They deserve credit for not giving up in the face of overwhelming odds but no leaseholder caught up in the building safety crisis should have to battle this hard.
