We are asking for too much from each other during the Pandemic. All of us. Professionally and personally. It's astonishing to me that folks are trying to keep up the normal pace with EVERYTHING. We need to slow down and pay attention in this remarkable moment or it will cost us.

Our response to covid sometimes makes me feel like we’ve been too lax about other common viruses, like the cold and flu. People would go to work/school and casually talk about having a cold, while not wearing a mask and not really distancing from others. That needs to stop.

The United States is really trying to end this pandemic by solely relying on people to just wake up one day and act completely differently. It is as if our entire public health system is now depending on individualism (and personal wealth) to save us.
