I graduated from Rancho Verde HS (’12) w/ my high school sweetheart, UC Berkeley (’16) w/ my girlfriend, and Harvard University (’22) w/ my fiancée. The timing of @renkwaning’s MPH (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health) and my AM (Harvard Griffin GSAS) was perfect. I am thankful for this moment! ♥️ #Harvard22

I enjoyed reading #QualitativeLiteracy cover to cover. I often snapped in appreciation of Mario L. Small and Jess Calarco’s insightful articulation of how to evaluate the scientific soundness of qualitative research. As a grad student, I think it is a very useful guide!

Congratulations Karen Kwaning, MPH (she/her) on matching into Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Boston Children’s Hospital! I am incredibly proud of you—and I am elated to return to Boston with you! #Match2023 #DGSOMUCLA #MedTwitter @BWH_BCH_MedPeds
