With just 11 days until COP26 starts, it’s great to see organisations like Climate Action Wendover (which my dad set up and chairs!) being recognised for their commitment to fighting climate change. Let’s hope we see the same commitment from our government and world leaders.

As #COP26 approaches, one of the most important things we can do is hold the conference in prayer. Hosted by our Manchester DEO, all are welcome to join Compline for COP26, livestreamed every evening at 9pm during COP (from 1-12th Nov) on this channel: youtube.com/c/LifeandHope

Please pray for us on our last day walking to Glasgow 🙏 We have been walking for 20 weeks + we're all feeling a range of emotions.... Nearly time to say farewell to the #RelaytoCOP26.... and #RiseTotheMoment to world leaders ⛵

The Young Christian Climate Network Relay to COP26 arrived in Glasgow, 1200 miles after leaving Cornwall in June. It’s been an utter privilege to be a small part of the journey, urging the church and world leaders to rise to the moment and take action on the climate crisis.

When it feels hard to be hopeful for what the next two weeks holds, let us choose the oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair, for the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon us (Is 61) #COP26

Keep us and the COP26 negotiators in your prayers. Tomorrow is Finance Day of #COP26. Just and Sustainable Climate Finance policies are a NECESSITY for our brothers and sisters in climate vulnerable nations.

Pray for #COP26 today: Adaptation, Loss and Damage. This is a key issue of #ClimateJustice for the conference to address, as the poorest countries suffer the worst loss & damage. Pray for new and additional sources of finance to help places which face loss of life & livelihoods.

Just two weeks after COP26, a Year 10 student wrote anonymously ‘young people can’t change anything at the moment’ after taking part in a workshop on climate change and it’s made me furious. When will young people have their voices not just heard but listened to and acted on?
