Sandall Park parkrun is saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

After much consideration by the event team, Sandall Park parkrun will go ahead tomorrow for those of you who want to join us. parkrun provides a space for people in the community to come together, both in times of happiness and also sadness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our 9th birthday event including the 313 people who ran, jogged and walked and the 42 amazing volunteers 🎉

Whilst the rest of Yorkshire was under a blanket of snow, we had bright sunshine. 264 parkrunners joined us, but the round of applause goes, as always, to our awesome volunteers, without them we don't have an event. Thanks guys 😍
