I don't understand why every time there's a protest in a foreign country everyone in the US feels compelled to signal they "stand in solidarity." You just learned about a massively complicated situation a few days ago. Do you know anything that wasn't told to you by someone else?

Every politician that is siding with the rail companies should automatically have their sick leave reduced to one day per year as well.

“Do you really have long Covid, or are you experiencing mental illness?” Because it’s really that simple in terms of being institutionalized against your will. You all need to look up disability law especially the Olmstead Decision as I am sure we are just at the beginning.

I could go on, but let's not. Right wing websites present as "news" but I think it should be clear that they are not. They're pure propaganda. They will deliberately suppress stories that would get them hundreds of thousands of ad impressions. All to suit their agenda. /end

When rail workers want to strike: “but it’ll hurt the economy!” When nurses want to strike: “what about the patients?!” When teachers want to strike: “what about the kids?!” This is union-busting propaganda. Strikes are hard on workers and are an essential part of bargaining.

Remember, the entire rightwing infrastructure (and grift!) is based on projection. They imagined that there was a liberal censorship regime at Twitter banning people for spurious reasons. Then one of their own took over Twitter and
started doing it for real. Projection.

“If the rail workers strike, it would hurt the economy” “If nurses strike, it’ll hurt the patients” “If teachers strike, it’ll hurt the children” This is anti-labor, strike-busting language. Yes, workers are vital—meet their demands.

3. But behind the scenes, Twitter gave approval & special protection to the U.S. military’s online psychological influence ops. Despite knowledge that Pentagon propaganda accounts used covert identities, Twitter did not suspend many for around 2 years or more. Some remain active.

We’ve had some close calls in the Court of Appeals, but they’ve always been in our favor. Worried. therealdeal.com/2019/10/22/nig

Eric Renner Brown disagree completely with this take. alphonse's review is all about how the transition to other styles is predictable, boring, uninteresting...basically the opposite of a genuine curveball from yachty. I like the album more than him, but loved the review.
