On the Amtrak in the Quiet Car. The woman next to me kindly asks the man behind her to not talk on his phone. He brushes her off. So she kindly asks the conductor to explain to the rule to him, which he, also kindly, does. The man then responds by calling her a mean name. (1/2)

The Amtrak conductor sternly, yet professionally, explains how inappropriate he is and that he’ll not tolerate name calling. Says we all have mothers, daughters, and sisters and it’s totally disrespectful. One of the most amazing things I’ve witnessed. Need more like him. (2/2)

Going through old family videos and found one my dad filmed of the 1990 Oxford 250. A very familiar face was interviewing the winner. Tom Caron

And so it’s come to this. Kids everywhere are retiring from sports. This is unacceptable. Parents, coaches and leagues need to change or get out of the way. Let kids find joy in sports before it’s too late. #DontRetireKid Aspen Institute Sports & Society youtu.be/TInFe337gZQ

A proud father himself, Kobe Bryant helped Project Play 2020 launch #DontRetireKid last summer. He shared his thoughts with Cari Champion on how coaches can do a better job when it comes to coaching youth.

I was very fortunate to get to work with Kobe over the past couple years on the #DontRetireKid campaign. He was so incredibly smart, passionate, and focused. I’m so sad for his family and everyone who admired him. Still cannot believe what happened. ow.ly/v0I550y6n8W

This is great. As a Red Sox season ticket holder, the terrible beer selection truly is my only Fenway complaint. And with so many amazing breweries in town, as you said!
