I remember how disappointed me & my 2 best friends at uni were re. 👎grades, including some 40ish marks! Less than 2 years on we’re band 6’s, love our careers & have completed masters level learning & helped so many staff/patients. My advice: grades do not maketh the nurse 🤣

Empathy should feed into every interaction, conversation with & about someone and their care. We can’t ever claim to know what it’s like to be someone but we can respect their experiences and vow to give them the best care with empathy and understanding 🤝 look beyond the surface
