We are still 3 full months away from the typical peak NHS winter crisis. 3 months. Yet already hospitals are full, every ambulance trust in England is on black alert, patients are trapped at home or in corridors, & people wait on chairs *outside* EDs. Shame on this government.

One of my best moments post graduation was seeing this today, all the hard work I put in on-top of working full time & showing off my passion for nursing education & eating disorder care. Grateful for the studying opportunities⭐️ 🎈#mentalhealthnursing #nursingeduction

I remember how disappointed me & my 2 best friends at uni were re. 👎grades, including some 40ish marks! Less than 2 years on we’re band 6’s, love our careers & have completed masters level learning & helped so many staff/patients. My advice: grades do not maketh the nurse 🤣

We’re extremely disappointed that the government is making calories on menus mandatory in England from 6 April. We know it causes anxiety for people affected by eating disorders. We know it can increase fixations on restricting calories for anyone with anorexia or bulimia. 🧵

Absolutely love working with the Mental Health Support Team in schools, running a parent led group & had feedback about the cost of the manual impacting engagement, I raised this & a week later I have a box of manuals (newly ordered) for the parents🥰 #CAMHS

So, yesterday I completed my first revalidation as a mental health nurse🥳 can’t believe its been 3 years, what a journey its been so far, continuing in the best job ive had so far as a CAMHS practitioner & EMHP Supervisor within the Mental Health Support Team in Schools💙 #nurse

I absolutely love my job but boy am I looking forward to annual leave next week💀 been so full on helping developing the #MHST offer in my new locality along with a looming essay & presentation deadline for my IAPT supervisor course 😴
