The traveling trophy finally travelled on over to Limestone. The boys last won conference in Track and Field in 2004, and this is the first team conference championship in any sport at Limestone since 2017. I’m one proud coach!

Sam Morse started out our day with a 4th place finish in the LJ with a 6.65 final jump!

Our 4x100 was next up, finishing their season with a 9th place, all-state finish in 43.42!

Frank Driscoll was next, and boy did he have a day. Frank moved from 9th in prelims to 4th in finals with a huge PR of 49.80!

Reece Dusek gave it all he had in the 400, finishing in 9th place, all-state, with a 50.44!

Our 4x400 was last up on the track. The boys finished their season in 6th place with a 3:27.53!

What a season! As a team, Limestone finished in 8th place with 28 points. Everyone that came to compete took home a medal. So proud of our guys and how far we’ve come together as a unit!

From the research I’ve gathered, Sam leaves Limestone with the 2nd best 100 (10.86), 200 (22.26), and LJ (22-8.5), and served as the lead leg to the 2nd best 4x100 (43.07) in school history. He won all 4 of those events at conference, and was 3x All-State. 5 years, HOF 🔒
