The head of the RNLI has defended lifeboat crews who help rescue migrants at sea, after it emerged some were being heckled by the public. Do you think the Royal National Lifeboat Institution should rescue migrants at sea? #RNLI #Migrants #Politics #News #Twitter #Polls

And to think we put such huge numbers on the streets 3 or 4 times. The last two marches were incredible. As you say we saw it all coming. On 22nd September 1934 at Gresford Colliery, Wales, an explosion killed 266 men & boys underground. 6 survived and only 11 bodies were ever recovered. The wages of all were docked by half a days pay by the owners because the men had 'failed to complete their shift.'

Such an important thread. I don't think many people could have endured what Carole's been through. The misogyny is off the scale and the way a few household name journalists joined in is hard to believe. More power to you, Carole Cadwalladr.

The sheer tawdry Trumpian shabbiness of the whole thing - it is difficult to see how much more of this the party or our political system can survive.

I don't ask for much on here but I'll be very grateful if you can spare a few quid towards this fundraiser. Of course, a retweet costs nothing. Diolch gofundme.com/f/lets-get-rac…

Giving this another share so the evening crowd see it too. This is a very worthy cause, please give it a look and if you're able to contribute it will be highly appreciated. Diolch yn fawr

No exaggeration but I was in that exact car park 2 weeks ago and I literally died of confusion, killed to pieces by the evil Welsh parking machine.

If you're "confused" by a fucking parking machine you're probably confused by a lot of things tbh. Stop making thick people newsworthy.

BREAKING: Lay-offs in Port Talbot are due to Brexit and not Net Zero says Ex First Minister, Carwyn Jones. “The Net Zero argument is utter nonsense”

Otto English (@otto_english) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#BorisJohnson backed Brexit because he wanted to be PM. He didn't care about you, or the country - or sovereignty, the single market or Port Talbot steel workers. He just wanted to be Prime Minister. And if you're still in denial about that you're the reason romance scams exist
