Here’s me: a chunky looking combination of spring and (what seems like a never ending) winter. Soaking the sun, eyeing the seagull in front of me, Enroute library

It’s a pity to see editors/publishers thinking presumably too highly of themselves and sending rejections while questioning your “intellectual ability”. Should be ashamed to be promoting such an intellectual culture which fails to understand language, meanings, and difference!

NEW: INAR has released the “2021 Reports of Racism in Ireland”. It shows that while racist criminal offences and incidents were similar to 2020, fewer offences are being reported to the police showing decreasing trust in the system: bit.ly/iReport22. 🧵of key findings⤵️

As a person who has never stopped wanting to see their parents’ faces, craved to see them together, and have failed in that pursuit; for one who doesn’t possess any pictures with their parents at all, and can never have any…your book made me cry Timothy Baker — it’s lovely

Laughed and cried with #theweir Abbey Theatre tonight; what a dream and delight to have watched this gorgeous play & phenomenal cast in-person! — best end-of-year treat, especially with the kind of year this has been.

Here’s my first peer-reviewed paper. I am grateful to have worked with En-Gender! and become a part of their vision for enhancing accessibility in/for academia and academic publishing. The patience, brilliant insights, and feedback of the team were vital to this process.

One of my friends who intends to spend the rest of his life in Ireland was so close to being attacked last night. He says he’s lucky to be alive. Post-riots Dublin is a horrible place to be. Ask those who have to live in fear and yet they carry on living with hope.
