This Sunday: Well Be Fest. When I lost my 20yr old son Andrew, I was aware of the massive lack of communication between mental health services & with the public. This Festival is my effort to start addressing this issue and getting people talking. Please share. 💚 #OldhamHour

Did you know we are starting a Uniform Hub? We are asking businesses of Oldham to help us support families in need during this cost of living crisis. This maybe by donating items of clothing or donations so we can go and buy them ourselves. We need your support! #oldhamhour

Can anyone help us with some spare bags of gravel and/or small stones please? On thursday the NEW picnic table was transported from Men in Sheds Oldham to the centre and is now at the Wellbeing Garden run by Breathe - Saddleworth Mental Health Caring Group.

The Government has chosen to waste another opportunity to save lives today. Local suicide prevention funding hasn’t been renewed like we hoped it would, meaning funding that so many communities in England depend on will completely run out at the end of this month #Budget2024🧵

It means communities are left with less support at a time when suicide rates are as high as they were over 20 years ago. The Government published a suicide prevention strategy in September - but without funding at both a national and local level, it won’t reach its targets.

We’re not going anywhere and we won’t stop calling for the Government to properly fund the suicide prevention strategy. We’ll hold them to account until they take the action needed to save lives.
