We are now a monolith. We started with a medical ICU, surgical ICU, cardiac ICU, neurosurgical ICU, and a cardiothoracic ICU, plus a dozen mixed specialty floors. Every floor and unit is becoming a COVID unit. There is no more specialization — we’re all treating one thing.

The whole idea was to not allow people to travel out. Beats the reason of the lockdown and we would have an Italy on our hands. Exactly how does one become a senior journalist with job description of staying on top of news, and not know this!
