So what *are* the interventions that have transformative & lasting effects? My move to Department of Economics, Stockholm University was a good opportunity to think about this. My answer is that it's hard to beat the returns to int'l migration. I mean, look at these numbers from Michael Clemens, David McKenzie et al.!

My answer is that it's hard to beat the returns to int'l migration. I mean, look at these numbers from <a href="/m_clem/">Michael Clemens</a>, <a href="/dmckenzie001/">David McKenzie</a> et al.!
