Does Carney get a boost for his handling of the trade war? Is Poilievre doing enough to win over soft Liberal support? And is Danielle Smith influencing the race? Thanks to Sabrina Grover Thomas A. Lukaszuk and Mark Norris for a spicy political panel. #yeg #yyc #cdnpoli

This election is more than a choice —it’s a call to defend what we believe in. 🇨🇦 It's about standing up for what matters: Our communities, our local businesses, our principles, and the values that make this country worth fighting for. The stakes have never been higher. From

Why I’m Endorsing Mark Carney and the Liberals Canada is at a crossroads. Prime Minister Mark Carney and the Liberals offer the experienced leadership Canada urgently needs. My full statement: scribd.com/document/84988…

Dan McLean Amazing to me that these current City Councillors, responsible for taking us down to a D+ in Financial Transparency, are on X - feigning outrage, and pointing fingers. You have had 4 years - and you have made it worse. #yyc #yyccc

Leaving this here to read on the scoring criteria (important context). I've asked admin to provide council a briefing on our next agenda that outlines our point losses and strengths. Important to note the score has nothing to do with tax rate. cdhowe.org/publication/co… #yyccc

This is an incredible choice. Few people understand the role and importance of organized labour - and the work that has to be done to connect with working people - as well as John Zerucelli He and Patty Hajdu will be a fantastic combo #cdnpoli

Most governments peak in year one. The Carney team has a shot at real legacy but only if they avoid Ottawa’s oldest trap. My latest on Prime Ministers and submarine Captains. open.substack.com/pub/gregmacnei…

TL;DR Alberta's Chief Electoral Officer says he's doing his job and will continue doing his job despite requests from Justice Minister Micky Amery that he not seek court advice on a separation question and just let it go forth.

We shouldn't be doing this at all. A referendum on an issue that has no chance of passing is at best a performative waste of money. A referendum on the future of Canada is worse. It also damages our economy, damages our reputation, & needlessly divides. ctvnews.ca/edmonton/artic…

Respectfully disagree. As a woodlot owner in NS, I can tell you firsthand: the forest floor is like tinder right now. You can feel the heat rising from it - just waiting for a spark. Our province is small, and communities are tightly woven into the woods. One fire here doesn’t

Kinda mangled what you wrote Fred DeLorey but I 100% agree. We have 3 ways to deal with possible fire disaster - prevent it from happening, mitigate while it's happening or finding liability to recover losses after it has happened. I know which one I'm leaning into.
