So much growth through our language centres this year! The students love that our centres involve current events and topics. During November, we’ve been continuing with Treaty Week activities, Remembrance Day, and have now incorporated Persuasive Writing and Financial Literacy.

The Intermediate High Park students decided to use part of their popcorn proceeds to give back to their community. Thank you to Kyle’s No Frills for allowing the students to practice their financial literacy learning, life skills and build local community relationships!

For #EarthDay we developed inquiry questions about what we throw away in a day @ school. Authentic math and science learning took place. Food waste was the biggest fraction of our garbage. A school compost was suggested. Stay tuned for what comes next!@OutdoorEducati5 LKDSB Elem Program
