On May 17, LKDSB recognizes the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, joining organizations globally to celebrate sexual and gender diversities and draw attention to the discrimination and violence experienced by LGBTQ+ people.

The Pride Flag will be displayed across the #LKDSB in June in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout the school year we encourage schools to champion anti-oppressive education and promote safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning and work environments for all.
