Myself 🙋🏼♀️ & my little dog Ellie 🐾 will be walking (at least) 60 miles in April again this year for a cause that is very close to my heart (literally) as I have, in the last 2 weeks, finished my breast cancer treatment & will 🤞🏻 be 5 years clear next month fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/ruths-giv…

So, finally, after 25 seasons & a couple of false starts, today I officially retire as a football secretary Frickley Athletic FC, however, the most capable Joel Clarkson has done all the spade work this season, while I’ve just been swanning around like The Queen of Sheba 😂💙⚽️

When we hit the Stand Up To Cancer UK 60 miles target, we decided to up it to 164 miles, the equivalent of walking from our house to Saltburn-by-the-sea & back. We’re nearly home!
